Do you think a Rolex looks better with grey hairs ??
This may be a silly question.....
I work a front desk job in a resort/marina type of area and I have to say that sometimes when a 50 something and up well fit and athletic guy walks in with is SS Sub that watch looks a lot more elegant and action ready than seeing it on a 20 year old monkey suited kid. Anyone agree ?? |

Hey A Rolex makes anyone look good. Even that 20 year old kid.

Cannot honestly see what the colour of anyones hair has to do with whatever watch you might be wearing.

nice question getto ...
I believe that it is related to the "charm" that age (and grey hairs) gives to a man ... Ciao Engi |

Well, as a 50 something well fit athletic guy, I'd say yes.

unfortunately, that 20 something kid in a well fitted monkey suit is me(but I rarely have to wear a suit). So, I am going to have to say that it looks better on the kid who's hair is not thinning . However, an all gold day/date on a 50 something, slightly grey, and in shape man looks very classy!

Maturity and gray hair are a great combination. I hope you get the privilege to acquire both someday.

Besides the haircolor and age - I would generally agree that a sub looks even better with casual clothing than a suit...

The college of life. I don't always get it right but try my best to learn along the way.

I don't think age matters but what I do say to people is don't wait until your older to get these type of things like watches, cars, etc
On holiday though I think a nice sub or SD looks great on a tanned wrist Few years back - my partner in her mid 30's said she was going to get a nice watch maybe a cartier for her 50th !! I was like why wait 15 years to look down at a nice watch on an old wrinkly wrist - just get it now. She sold a stash of stuff on ebay & although didn't eventually get the cartier - she got something that she really liked. |

Nah, I've had it pretty easy compared to most but I try not to take it for granted.

I had gray hairs when I bought my first Rolex and now I have even more gray hairs.
Having said that, I think I would have been cool even before I had any! |
