bobwatches.com legit?

Hello Everyone - Great forum! Trying to learn as much as possible before purchasing a pre-owned Rolex for my husband. Found a website - bobswatches.com. They seem to have great prices which actually makes me a little nervous. Any past experiences with them? Any other websites you would recommend I check? Thank you in advance! -Ashley

Hi Ashley, fellow newbie here. Seems the verdict is still out on them, and website is not up to date. Check this previous thread:

You're right, called them..

It seems like every watch they have online they don't have in stock and tried to upsell me over the phone. Not pleased..

I have been researching online over a month and can't bring myself to pull the trigger. I am terrified of being ripped off!!

A friend recommended checking out local pawn shops and bringing a jeweler I trust. I have never even been in a pawn shop. Good idea?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I wanted to do business with them...apparently they are either NEW
into this game or not 100%....because when I offered a large discount
for a new Rolex-just so we can start some dealing (I gave them 45% OFF..?) !!
They came back and asked for more discount..??..
Hello.........this is more discount than an AD gets for his watches.

There are sellers on this forum who have immaculate references and are very trusted here. Check out the sales section of this site.

Wouldn't go with them. Bought a DJ from them. Came with all sorts of problems. Took it to an AD and they said they had messed with a lot of things on the watch. Most importantly is that it was originally a two tone DJ and made it into a SS. Needless to say I got rid of the watch pretty fast.
