Actually a lot of parallels between the evolution of the 911 and Submariner. Both classic designs which have been refined over the years. Both a barometer of the fasion of the decade. Amazing how good the original concepts were, IMHO.

Air cooled hand made 96 993TT--my favorite car!! Rolex Sub--my favorite watch--Love them both in vintage! Mine is now put away for the winter--my 993TT that is!! Great combo!!

Actually it's Tudor that has the relationship w/Porsche. Of course, a Rolex works well with a poor man's Porsche too. Not quite as sporting as yours though.

My Porsche went into storage friday, 10 hours before a snowstorm hit us. Nonetheless, my ND Subbie looks awful good on my wrist while I row through the gears.

Discovery 3? I have one too (my daily driver to deal with the poor Algarve roads and have some fun in the mud) and a CLK 500 cabriolet (just love V8s).
