Why SUB C is more expensive then GMT II

Does anybody know why really Sub C is more expensive then GMT II?I belive they use the same oyster case, but the Sub can go deeper right, but i don't see why the extra price.

Does the gmt2c have the glidelock clasp? That would account for some of the difference.

a couple of things i can see -

- depth rating: Sub-C @ 300m, GMTIIC @ 100m
- clasp: Sub-C w/ glidelock, GMTIIC w/ easylink

imo, the glidelock along is worth the extra over the easylink

Well though the past decades the Sub date has always been more expencive than the GMTs and a bigger volume seller.

I guess the second time zone doesnt count for anything on the GMT.

Could have purchased a new GMT for $1000.00 off.

I'm sure the OP was referring to the MSRP for both pieces.... Not how much discount you can get off each.....

Yep, as Peter said, the Sub has always been more than the GMT.. It's supply and demand. More popular items are always more expensive than others...
