Green Rolex Anniversary Year?
Hey Rolex fans, me again. This time around I have a green bezel Rolex which I believe is an Anniversary edition.
Some numbers I have here: 16610T I also have a number here starting with an M as well. |

That's a lv and if I'm not mistaken only the 2003 models were the anniversary editions . If the serial starts with M than it isn't from that time frame, though this doesn't take any real value from the piece

Disagree. Whether it is a 2003 model or a 2010 model, it is still introduced, marketed and sold as Rolex 16610 Anniversary Submariner Date.

The only problem with this watch is I am unable to locate the paperwork. How would I determine the year if I could?

From the pic it looks like a M serial (@ 6 o'clock), so that can range from late 2007 to 2009-ish from memory (I'm not a serial number vs year expert though..)

Not. It's not the flat-4, oval-O which was only made in '03, sold through '03 and part of '04. Sorry.

The Green insert Sub was introduced in 2003 "To Commemorate 50 Years of The Submariner"..
They are all mainstream production models although some like theirs to be special because they were made dring the first year or so....... Hower, except for some minor cosmetics, they are all identical.. Enthusiasts refer to them all, and Marketers sell all of them as "50th Anniversary Subs", Rolex never did...

If you like the watch then buy it and enjoy it...if it appreciates in value...all the better for you. If you buy with investment in mind...good luck!!!
