Raised or Flush Crystal???

Which do you prefer???....

The newer, more flush and sometimes domed (DSSD) crystal, or the older, more raised design?

Think I prefer the older, raised crystal myself, as it seems to be a signature of the brand and catches the light around the bezel.

Can't say I'm too bothered if the watch looks good.

I like the flush since it's more protected....but I do have a soft spot for my plexi-DJ.

Mine are both raised and beveled but I wouldn't mind if they were flush.

I prefer flushed for that clean and crisp look!

I like the raised design, but it doesn't matter too much to me.

Both my Explorer and my DJ have raised crystals, meaning that they are taller than the bezel.

The DJ is higher and I would presume thicker, but it hardly matters to me, as long as I can see the dial.

Good thread! The flush crystal was originally more of an impediment to my liking the new models than was the thick lugs.
