I would kindly like to thank brinkaus vancouver bc canada

Hello good folks of trf. Jeez I dont know where to begin really, its been too long a haiatus from posting. Life gets in the way as we all know and its good to be back posting long story short, I noticed around christmas my beloved milgauss GV had something wrong with the movement. It was like it seemed to be making audible guhhhg guggghhh gughhhhghgg noises when the rotor would swing around and a noticible vibration. After I got home from work I immediately took it off and let the power reserve die. Needless to say I have not owned it for even 2 years yet and had never once let me down. So 2 days later I went into brinkhaus on georgia st vancouver with said GV. i would like to say how pleased I am with the service that I recieved there for the warrenty repair. They said around 2 weeks for the repair, and on day 13 of waiting I got the call to pick it up. At the shop I waited and the dealer showed me some pateks and gave me a patek magazine as well! :D watch came back and the workers told me the watchmaker is the best in vancouver and not to worry, all it needed was a little lubrication and there was no damage or grinding. Rotor is smoooooth as ever, and seems to keep even better time from its +2 a day almost between 0 and +1! And it is humming and ticking away as ever! Thank you brinkhaus! I know where my next big watch purchase is gonna be

And no I dont sell watches there

I hope everyones new year is going well and I missed all you nuts

See you around

Glad to hear you got hooked up and it was still under warranty.

Kind of curious though, why you choose local over RSC for warranty work though. Any special reason?

They are the RSC for Vancouver. Their watchmaker is Certified. Any warrenty issue must be taken up with Rolex for consideration. I am sure if he could not "fix" it or would not as it were it would have gone back to toronto. They will service Pateks, Iwc, Rolex, Omega only, being qualified service centres.

Good to see u Buddy!!!! How have you been?? They told me not to worry ,and the only worrying I did was worrying about when I would have that bad boy back. 13 days , 1 day under of the fortnight the manager suggested. I was told by a employee that the watchmaker said that he did not like to see such a young peice have something possibly wrong afoot. and just to know all it needed was an oil was a relif for sure. Such service and genuine kindness goes a long way in my books

+1 sec today!!! Killer

Catch you on the flip side dudemeister

Hmmmmmmm? it sounded like a sick cat purring before

And to even notice that rotor moving behind that caseback and protective faraday cage was alarm enough, seeing as I never felt it do such before.
Any similar stories without the gugughgh gughghg gugughghg???

A good shop

I haven't bought a watch there but a friend of mine from Vancouver has bought a couple and I have been in there with him. The saleman, a nice guy named Kevin I think, was very knowlegable on all his product and excellent to deal with. If I ever decide to buy a watch new from an AD I would definitely go there.
