My name is Jody, and I think that I have a problem.

I purchased my first Rolex yesterday (a new Sub C). I negotiated a heck of a deal with my local AD, so I decided to pull the trigger. It's been less than 24 hours since my purchase and I'm already contemplating my next purchase - I think that it's safe to say - I have a sickness.

Thank you to all who post on this forum - I've learned a bunch from my relatively brief time here and I look forward to learning a bunch more.

Congrats. Hanging out here just makes the sickness even worse. Be prepared for a steady decline in your reasoning when it comes to watches the longer you stick around.

Be Afraid! Be Very Afraid!!
It is all good, and completely normal behavior... as we all rationalize away our hard earned savings.
Wecome, and be happy.

Congrats on the new watch.... everyone here has the sickness.... I've heard they're working on a vaccine... but I'm afraid of needles so I guess I'll have to live with it.

Hey Jody

Are you married? If so the Rolex addiction could be a serious and expensive problem My last puchase (GMTc) cost me a fortune, I had to buy the Mrs a DJ 116200 to keep her sweet !!!!

Welcome to the madhouse. Look forward to details on the next purchase
