NEW Member from Canada!

Hello Everyone!

My name is Adam. I'm a very different teenager. The typical teenager now a days likes baggy jeans, rap music, fat cat Lamborghini's and so on. I'm way off, I'm a rare find.

I'm like an old man in a young man's body. I love blues music (Muddy Waters, Buddy Guy, Robert Johnson, B.B King and Eric Clapton). I'm a big Eric Clapton fan. I love Mr Clapton's watches. My father showed me a picture of his mid 80's Rolex Submariner (Black Face, Black Bezel,) and I fell in love with this watch.

I would love a Submariner, but I can't afford one. My cousins want me to buy a fake one. I don't think I should. :

I have 2 watches. A beautiful $290 Tommy Hilfiger w/date (Stainless Steel) and a $100 Kenneth Cole Reaction (Black) watch. Very beautiful pieces.

Here's my favourite Submariner. http://www.my-watches-collection.com...submariner.jpg

Welcome Adam, I'm also Canadian and I joined this forum as a teenager a few years ago to discuss getting my first nice watch. Like you, I wanted an SS submariner. I worked hard, saved up, and finally got what I wanted. Although I fell in love with a Sea Dweller and got that instead. Here's my two Rolexes, I hope you get yours soon keep working for it.

Thanks guys! I think that I'm going to work hard and not buy a fake. I have my whole life ahead, it's not like they are going to stop making Rolex's? I'll hopefully purchase one later in life. It's defiantly a dream watch for me.

I too, will chime in with a big welcome to TRF..
I like your intro. ..and taste in the Sub. Don't go for a fake. Treat yourself to the real McCoy .. which Im sure you could find on here, thru a trusted TRF seller. Seems like there are quite a few Subs around and available...!!
You gotta go with the real thing...!

Yes. I think I am possibly going to buy an Invicta Pro Diver, it looks exactly like a Submariner.
