crazy or cool?

I previously wanted the white gold daytona with the panda dial, but I went down to our local Rolex dealer (new rolex store in Millenia Mall) and tried on the white gold model with the black face. It didnt feel "right" for me, so I kept looking around. I then saw the masterpiece with the meteorite dial. I tried it on and was lost for words. Long story short, with the wife's suppost, I just posted a wanted ad for the masterpiece 18956 with meteorite dial. Anyone else have this watch? How does it show wear? Im hoping the platinum band will last a lifetime, so any input is appreciated......As always, I appreciate the pros and CONS, so let me know your thoughts.

I do not own the platinum model you are referring to however platinum is going to wear much worse IMO than gold, show more wear/scratches/dings/dents... An awesome watch however not something I would use as a daily wearer
