The Rolex Easylink

Hello All!

This is my first time posting in this forum. I just got my first Submariner. I've been wanting one for so long.

I have a question: I have been reading in forums that people use the easylink to give the bracelet a slight expansion when their wrists swell. I tried that with mine, but when I untuck the easylink, it makes the bracelet effectively three links longer, which is unwearable.

Am I doing something wrong? I feel like I'm overlooking something obvious.

If anyone has any suggestions, I would love to hear them.

Maybe try not pulling so hard, or your AD may have to adjust it.

Thanks for the reply. What do you mean by "not pulling so hard". You just snap it out. It's not as if the harder I pull on the easylink, the longer it gets.

Easy Link

Subs do not have an easy link, but rather a dive extension. The easy link is found on the new models of GMT, Daytona, Explorer.

Oh, I see. I guess I was mistaking that for whatever the easylink is.

So what is the purpose of the dive extension?

To use it over a wet suit when diving.

The dive extension increases the length so it can be worn over a wetsuit.

The easy link on the gmt is basically fold out half link and a different setup than the glide lock setup on the sub.
