What's your take on the diamond DJs?

What do you guys think of the diamond-faced DJs and or the ones with beaded bezels, champaign dial? I don't see much talk of them here, but they are my 2 choices. In the pre-owned market, the price difference between them isn't that significant. So, which one looks better (or neither?). Is the beaded-bezel one too showy? Does it attract too much attention?

Not a fan.

A little too feminine IMO.

But glad you like them.

I personally like subdued diamond markers on a silver, white, or light blue face.

My wife has the TT datejust with tahitian black pearl diamond dial and diamond bezel. It looks great. But, imho, only some mens datejust can handle the diamond dial and bezel.

This has been disussed before... i think most people here dont like it... but get what you love... its your watch after. I think the first one would be the better choice of the two.

My DJ has a diamond dial .. I really like it .. Not sure what I think of the bezel .. It all comes down to what you like and what you want .. Get the rolex that is going to make you happy .. Good luck .. Remember that no matter which Rolex you choose, it is still a Rolex and Rolex is perfect

I like the first one. Looks good on the TT DJ, w/ champagne dial....more subdued than your 2nd choice.
I don't think it looks feminine.
I also like the TT sub w/ diamond markers.
P.S. If you get the watch you can sing Diamonds are Forever....by Shirley Bassey & Goldfinger....also by the great Shirley B. Oh yeah, sing Moonraker too, she's the only singer to sing 3 songs/3 Bond films!

Diamond on the dial is ok; bezel can be slightly out there. Depends on the situation and setting i guess.

I used to wear my 16233 diamond dial to class no one would bat an eyelid; cept for the couple of lecturers who were into watches.

I like the diamond markers because they're subtle....as for the diamond bezels, it's just 'too much' for me.

IMO diamonds on a watch is strictly for women, but they can pull it off

Always looks great on you, Mark-O! You don't have any trouble reading the dial? I've always liked the look of the black diamond dial, but I find the WG hands difficult to read against the dark dial...

Thanks, my WISta! Nope, no problem MOST of the time. In dark lighting it's sometimes difficult.

I only like diamonds as the markers on the dial.
