I think I can see myself being excited...

About the 359... Something about it, not sure what yet. Maybe the numerals that you don't see on most models, dunno. Going to have to take a look at one in person somewhere.

I'm liking the 359!
Can't let it distract me from my goal of a PAM 341 L'Egiziano...

Great one Greg. Love the 359. The vintage dial look caught my eyes and had to try one on. Loved it.
It would be the one to go for probably after the 372.

The "Dirty Dial" 359 has a very strong military feel with all the numeral hour markers on the dial. I have to say that I'm likin' it. Would like to see one up close.

Myk - thanks fir that, I had no idea mate.... That is a cool looking device there. Your pic?

Dude - nice pics man, she's a beauty

Mike - love your photography man, can't wait to handle it at the KY GTG!

Ed, oh, I do, I do like that lume color. Even though I know it's faux-patina, it doesn't bother me as much as it did on the 360 - probably since there's no hype about this model.

Marco - don't let anyone fool you, the 341 is in a league of it's own. That thing is a monster. I look at my stock piece almost daily and admire it.

In-corr-ect. Presently the 341 is on a down-cycle, it'll bottom out around $24000, then the new ones will disappear off the secondary market. Hell, there are only about 6 listed right now. It is different from other over-hyped models in that the case is not shared with any other references. Historically, after about 3-4 years, these models go through the roof. Plus, Panerai does not plan on making this model anymore (not until the next re-release in 50 years ). Mark my words, before 2015, these will be trading in the $40k's. Ad this is not just my opinion - some people specialize in Panerai market alone and they concur.

No, I like the 312.... Actually had it for a while. But as others will tell you, I'm simply sick and get bored easily. The GV is the only watch that was never considered for the chopping bloc, and even there I had to switch the dial

Perhaps you don't grasp the reason I'm drawn to thus particular piece. It's a combination of Panerai's history/DNA so clearly represented in the watch along with it's sheer presence...hard to put into words. Either you get it, or you don't.

Not my pic, but I've seen it in real life.

It is in the mini museum above the Florence Boutique. Think it was a deck clock.

He couldn't stay away! Robert (Aka... Watchman1957)

FYI .... I also got a Private Message earlier today from him asking me why I am still buying anything other than Pre-V pieces.

He is too funny and definitely needs to get a life. His whole purpose in life is to promote his pre-V pieces and talk down to all other owners. Please give him a round of applause for coming back under a new screen name.

That's sad... I can't stand people that feel the need to belittle others. Pre-V or not, I like Panerai and the 341 IS my next grail. Someone make him go away please.

I was wondering why someone would step in and piss all over the thread- and my 341draem. Nasty piece of work, that one.
