Just thought I would try it on my NATO.

What do you think?

I may buy the strap that doesnt go under the case back as this one raises the watch too far off the wrist IMO.

It looks good. Black + Black makes it stand out!
One of the many great things about the 14060 is that
it looks good on the original SS bracelet, NATO, rubber,
and yes ... even on leather. Plus it has lug holes so you
can switch between them easily.

Fresh ink mate, last Tuesday. Still not finished but have to wait till June to get another sitting and then it will be a full sleeve. Maybe about 6 hrs work left. Its still not healed properly yet.

where's the best place to buy a NATO strap? also - do you need special spring bars or can you just use the ones that came with the watch? thanks!

These are the BEST Natos on the market IMHO. This is a really decent place to buy them. Buy the "Maratac Mil Series NATO (G10) 20mm". They also sell a bond Maratac NATO on the same page. You can use the springbars that came on the watch.

I agree with broadarrow. I'd also like to recommend Corvus. They sell the "original" Bond straps made by the company that made them back in the day. I recently purchased one of their Admiralty Grey straps. Totally amazing. At first I thought it was of lesser quality than the broadarrow straps...but they are identical to those used in the 60's.

Let's put it this way. If you like the old SS Rolex bracelet...go with Corvus. If you prefer the new, fancy Sub bracelet...go with Broadarrow. You can't really go wrong though! :)

Great Look IMO.

I wear my 14060M weekdays on a Nato.

I snip off all the keepers except the two for the strap end and I cut off the extra strap retainer. It is then much neater IMO.

Thick, comfortable straps with proper heat-welded seams and shipping from the UK is under $3.

The RAF pattern does not have the extra "keeper" strap if you want it to sit lower on the wrist.

Try a zulu instead. You still get the security of an "under the caseback" strap, but it's just one strap under there (as opposed to both parts of the nato) and thus thinner.

I just got a big package full of straps from Broad Arrow last week. I already had a black NATO and added a grey one. I also got all four of the milspec straps, which are more stealth than either NATO or ZULU. I highly recommend them. I wore my 14060 all weekend with frequent changes. It's funny -- I used to hate the NATOs because of the extra strap tucking I need to do, but it just works on the 14060. So well that I want to get more!
