Deployment clasp
I've found the standard strap fits my 8" wrist providing I'm using the deployment clasp. If I don't then it's a tight fit.
Does this came as standard on all PAMS? I've looked at the 104,111,112 & 312. |

Please let me correct you: It's "deployant" clasp.

Yeah, it is deployant, and aftermarket straps will address the Panerai short straps. With a 8" wrist, you'll need a much longer strap.

I don't believe it comes standard. At least it did not on my 233. I also have large wrists and although aftermarket straps will fix the problem I find them a little on the thick side. I also like the tapered look 24mm to 22mm of the OEM straps VS 24mm to 24mm that most aftermarket strap makers tend to make.

the salesman at the boutique in paris told me they don't come standard with 1950 models because they weren't available in 1950.
sounds right? |

well if we want to get technical, panerai actually refers to them as adjustable buckles ;)
