Sea-Dweller DeepSea

Just got my DSSD today but there are a few things that I'm concerned/curious about. I wanted to run it by this very knowledgeable forum.

1) The booklets that came with my watch include:
a small green warranty booklet
a gold colored factory service booklet
a ROLEX SUBMARINER booklet with a picture of a diver on the front
and a green Rolex Submariner Date booklet

Did I receive the wrong books?? Nowhere is there any mention of the DeepSea SeaDweller!

2) The warranty card has a client number on it.... is this number linked to a specific person on the Rolex database?? I got my watch through the grey market.

3) The Rolex Distributor is:
Corporacion Clessisdra, C.A.
AV.Boyaca,C.C.Centro Profesional
Valencia

Is this an Official Rolex Dealer at all??

The watch looks totally authentic and I'm not worried about it.... just wanted to make sure everything else as mentioned about fits.

Thanks....

As Always Pics would be helpful.
You got the wrong books i think.
The client number is just the country code. The country where the watch was sold/bought

A grey dealer is not an authorised dealer by definition.. hence they are called grey dealers. Your watch will not have rolex warranty.

Great watch and enjoy

Yes, you should have received the official "Rolex Sea-Dweller DeepSea" green booklet as part of your overall purchase - and not a Submariner or any other book for that matter. You should inquire and followup with your seller on this item. I believe you can purchase the DeepSea booklet separately on eBay, etc.,

Sorry I can't speak regarding anything else, as I know nothing about the gray market as you alluded to. This said, you do sound confident regarding the overall authenticity of this timepiece. If so, a big congrats and WELCOME to the DSSD club!! A wonderful timepiece in all respects for sure!

BEST REGARDS

Spot on IMO, books I believe are wrong. Honestly I have owned 2 DSSD and have never even checked to see what books came with it

Sounds like you should have done a little more diligence before you bought your at watch if you didn't even know grey dealers, by definition, are not authorized Rolex dealers...

Regardless who sold you the watch , I'm sure only outlet's that are official dealers with Rolex can have their name / company and address on the card . I believe these data are filled in by the Rolex official importer in each country before the watch gets shipped to the retailing AD

Hope you got a real rolex... some high-end DSSD fakes out there.

Wrong booklet. Deep Sea booklet is what you should have gotten.

I think the Valencia is the one in Venezuela. Unfortunately, the Venezuela AD is not this address either but is in Caracas (now, who knows about previously). Av. (avenue) Boyaca turns up in Venezuela.

"Clessisdra" seems not to exist, but Clessidra was an equity group...not promising as an AD.

Hi,

Thanks for everyones reply. When I get home, I'll take a picture of the warranty card and also the watch.

When I bought the watch, I knew it was not from an authorized seller. However it was advertised as obtained from an authorized dealer. I'm keeping the company anonymous for now since it is actually a big online/web company and it may have been just a mistake.

By the way the client number on my card is 770. Venezuela? Does that match?
