Check this dial for me

I purchased this dial and it was reported to be an original Rolex dial with diamonds added aftermarket.

I am suspicious by the quality of the writing on the dial and the logo.

Here is a photo of the dial and the back of the dial. What do you guys think?

I am thinking it should go back to seller.

I think it looks bad. I don't know if it is real or not I am sure you will get a definitive answer soon. But the writing looks terrible I doubt a real Rolex dial would ever have writing so sloppily done. It looks like the writing was redone with glitter paint.

The lume on the six and the nine look a bit sloppy but I am by no means an expert.

Thanks everyone. I've come to the same conclusion and notified the seller that I want a full refund.

For an older dial like that one (Swiss - T >25), I'd think it should be either a Singer or Beyeler dial like the ones below.

I don't want to get technical, but according to chemistry alcohol IS a solution!

Thanks. The dial is on its way back and the seller has agreed to refund the money. I paid through PayPal, so I am protected either way.

I appreciate the feedback.

Another question about dials.

What do these #'s mean on the back of dials? I have seen them quite a few times, but couldn't find any reference for them. Do they tell you anything about the type of dial?
