Received SeaDweller in trade - RSC question
Last week I traded my Vacheron C dress watch for a Z series SeaDweller w/o box & papers at my local watch dealer.
Since then it has been authenticated at Rolex RSC Shanghai, but in terms of any documentation i.e. letter to confirm, they will not issue but say I'll have to wait until the next service which according to them is not required as the watch is pretty minty. Whilst I'm happy that everything is legit and it's a great watch, is it usual not to receive any letter when authenticating? (there was no fee imposed by Rolex btw). I only received the Rolex envelope in which the watch was returned in. Anyway, below are a couple of pics of the new addition...

RSC will not give you documentation for free. If you absolutely must have some printed authentication you can always pay RSC $150US (roughly) for an insurance appraisal.
Walk the watch in. Watch goes in the back. It comes back out. You pay the money. RSC mails you the appraisal in 2-3 weeks. The appraisal has all the info you need. |

Thanks Dave
I'll probably wait for the next servicing to gain the documented servicing. K.

Ta, though think I only control the twosome now. On the upside, maybe I'll have some time with the Daytona now...
