Paperwork Holder

Hey Guys,
Is this a real paperwork/warranty card holder? It's on a watch I found online.

I bought another Rolex from a reputable (oxymoron, I know) grey dealer online that came with this paperwork holder. Though the watch was authentic, the AD said it "didn't look like something Rolex would do" and was concerned with the watch.

Does this look like something Rolex gives out with watch purchases? Maybe it's something International my AD hasn't seen before. He is right, my other Rolex's usually have a green linen (some soft paper material) to hold the warranty card.

Thanks!

There are a lot of reputable grey dealers online, quite a few who do business on this forum. I'm not trying to "pick a fight", but I find your comment inappropriate.

Looks fine. My YM has one just like that. For the older ones with actual "paper work", not CC type.

The most important bit is the watch Rolex themselves don't make these paperwork holders. And there has been many different types world wide now the USA is a separate company from the rest of Rolex. And being seperate have there own unique type of cards paperwork packaging etc.

That is an authentic Rolex warranty card holder from non-US supplied Rolex watches. The older version has a slot on each side and the newer version has a small rectangular window in one of the slots that allows information from the warranty card to show through without removing the card. US supplied Rolex watches use the green paper holder that has a slot for the card in the front and holds the booklets behind it.

That is indeed the warranty holder that we get in the UK.

Another AD sales person doesn't know.
I never listen to a sales person at an AD, seems to me that they don't know anything.
I remembered not long after I bought my SS GMTIIC, one day I stopped by another Rolex AD in my area and look at the SS Daytona, while looking at the Daytona, the sales person told me that I have on a FAKE GMT.

Non-us watches come with leather holders. US come with the cardboard holders and extra gold booklet with AD names and locations.

Hard to believe...What did you say / what was his response

BTW, my wife's DJ was purchased outside of the US. It came with that nice leather holder.

I did not say anything, just walked out of the store without looking back.

Wow Globalmedia33, that's sooooo crazy. I've heard a few members here say their over the whole dealer experience and I am starting to feel that way myself.

Great replies everyone, thanks so much. I think you nailed it! It's the holder that comes from UK watches.
