It's an original GMT built especially for Pan Am execs. The white dial makes it as rare as hen's teeth. The going price on one of those would probably run more than my wife's Lexus LS460.

Gotta be the 6541 Milgauss.
Though if those are fresh out I'll take a 1655 Explorer-II. |

There's several great write ups on the history of the GMT, here's a pretty good one noting the rarity of the white 6542. http://www.ukwatches.com/Notes/rfgmt.htm These watches rarely turn up for sale, rather they are traded privately. At somewhere around 150 known examples it's one of the rarest of references. If and when one exchanges hands with no issues, it's said to be in six figures. |

It is a very pretty watch. Be careful with it, because I bet the dial is irreplaceable. Where can you find another dial like that? |

I think it will have to be a DD.President bracelet. It has to be in YG.Champagne or white dial, with romans or diamonds.Diamonds on the bezel, perhaps.Diamonds, carefully incorporated in the design,so as to look classy, since its a fine line to tacky ..... Yep,something in that direction, would be the grail Wont buy it,though, because its too expensive and not practical at all,but it would be one of those things that "will be nice to own"
