New Member - First Rolex, First Thread

A couple of months ago i decided on my first Rolex, a submariner 11610LV. I'm currently 17 and now have my Sub, unfortunately i'm not allowed to touch it until i'm 18. Is this a good first rolex to have ? I have also recently purchased a black bezel insert for it to be able to give it another look, making it more diverse. Overall i'm thrilled with my purchase and can't wait to be wearing it.

Here is a pic of it

Thanks
Matt

Thanks

That is too true, but i couldn't decide between it and a brand new GMT II. I'm happy with my decision though

Welcome to TRF, and YES, that was a good choice. That one will only increase in value, since it is no longer in production. Well done!

Welcome to TRF Matt! Your new Sub LV is not a good choice, it's a GREAT choice! Congratulations, you'll love it more as you wear it more.

I love new green sub too, mainly because of the ceramic bezel gives it a really vibrant colour. I sure hope it is worth the wait !

I have the same watch with a black bezel on and I love it. Congrats in your first Rolex and welcome to TRF. If you stick around enough it certainly won't be your only Rolex though.

Best,
