Most comfortable strap
As a new Panerai owner, I was wondering what the most comfortable strap is in the opinion of some of the members of this Forum I realize this is totally subjective, but I am just looking for some general feedback and suggestions.
Thanks. |

From the OEM's, The JV gold strap is great for comfort and patina.

I find the OEM rubber accordian strap to be one of the most comfortable.

The Assolutamente strap used on the Boutique Editions............nothing comes close as far the other OEM straps.............and great looking as well. It is the perfect strap to make your Panerai vintage looking and a pleasure to wear.

Comfort wise, nothing beats rubber. Then the calf vintage. Then comes the rest. :)

The most comfortable OEM strap is the Vintage Calf (I have dark brown and black). My most comfortable after-market is the Micah Plainsman.

I own an OEM gator, OEM rubber, Toshi and a Ted Su baby hornback. They are all comfortable, but the nicest feeling of the lot for me is the Toshi. Soft and thick, it balances the weight of the watch well.
On a hot summer day though, nothing beats the rubber. |

ever since i started going back to the gym, my wrist circumference has grown. now the 2nd hole in the oem strap is too tight while the 3rd hole is too loose.
plus i have to deal with strap thickness, wrist expansion, and juuuust the little allowance for my skin to breathe. it is such a pain in the a$$. moral lesson. what matters is most the fit. its time to go strap hunting! |

excellent pics!
im my experience, the chunky but very soft ones are more comfortable since they are sewn back to back. but the jv and gators look way more presentable. |

For me, out of my limited selection, it's the Metta Strap from Micah.
