FS: Tudor 94010 Marine Nationale (French Navy)
Up for sale is my Tudor Submariner - Marine Nationale Military issued watch.
The Marine Nationale watches were issued to the French Navy from approx 1956 till 1983. The most commonly seen pieces are the ones produced from the early 70's till early 80's. These are commonly identified as "MN" watches. The reason for this is mainly that they feature a MN engraving on the caseback. These pieces can be identified in various ways. The engraving is fairly easy to copy, but the serial number range is pretty well researched. Also the rarest ones still retain the brown decomissioning tag that they were sold with 10 years ago when the French Navy sold 'em off (for pennies). ;) This watch is a 100% genuine and correct MN 81. It's main features are: - MN 81 engraving, correct and crisp - Case shows no bracelet wear marks (they were delivered on nato straps) - The dial, hands and bezel are all correct and full tritium versions - The original brown DECOM tag is included and the serial #'s match! The overall condition is an easy 90%. Its been pressure tested and had new gaskets fitted at Rolex DK. (invoice included). I am asking 8000 euros for this piece. I will entertain certain trades. Specifically towards a Rolex 116509 or 116519. I have tons of references, and feel free to read more about MN watches on www.tudorcollector.com Sincerely, Morgan |
