how to treat ???

Most people would like to know how to stop the disease being addicted to Rolex :-)

I'm starting to get the opposite

I always loved them and I always probably will

BUT I'm just not buying them anymore. I love my Yachtmaster and ofcourse my green sub 16610
But these could be the last I ever bought. I do not like these new GMT and Sub Rolexes, from the beginning I didn't like their fat case and today I still don't
The Daytona is a nice watch but somehow I don't want one and the new explorer ?? Nice too but just not for me.

I always prefered sports rolexes so I will never buy a datejust or day-date

My 2 favorite brands are Rolex and Panerai but I think I have more than enough from Rolex while I can think about 10 Panerai watches I would love to have

I'm not going to sell my 2 Rollexes but what happened ? Why has the Rolex passion gone ?

Still convinced that Panerai is not of the same quality of Rolex. Heard this throughout numerous resources...

YOU WILL BE BACK! Muhahahaha

I felt the same about the new GMTs and Subs until I bought a new Sub C just to have. Now a new addiction, Sub C, TT GMT II C, TT Sub C blue, The Hulk, And a GMT II C in that order. You will be back.

Know how you feel, but I haven't lost the passion so much as enjoying the recent additions to the collection. I am sure this situation will change for me in less than 12 months.

In the meantime I'll keep enjoying the great watches that members post on the forum and increasing my overall horology knowledge.

Your comments regarding the newer models. Sounds to me as if you need to spend some time in the vintage forum

There is no shame in looking at other watches. You'll probably be comparing them to Rolexes, though

IMHO Panerai makes ugly watches. Don't see what the big deal is with them. Then again, I never saw one in person.

I was the same way until I saw one in the metal. I'd always say "They look like clown watches...."

Well, I'm now in the same boat as the OP.

I had 2 Rolex, now I'm down to 1...my sub...my first nice watch. Sold the IIc because I don't like the PCL's. Couldn't get past them. I love Rolex, but turns out I love another brand more.

Now I have 3 Panerai with another coming soon and yet another that I'm on a wait list for!
I'm in trouble....
