The worst day since yesterday.

Most of my watches have now been taken out of the display, rubbed over & reunited with their boxes / paperwork ready for departure when they sell.

I know I’m doing the right thing as the Grail is calling, but this Flogging Molly tune keeps resounding in my head.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDSud7vAH_0

It hurts a bit doesn't it guys ?

Please join me in raising a glass to our dear departed once ‘true loves’ & add pics of your own

Gratuitous pics of the keepers

I've just cracked a bottle of '79 vintage Dow's Port so shall raise a glass of that to your "exes"!

I think you're right. If they were the ones he was selling it would have worked well... You could have had the DJ, I could have had the Root Beer...

There are watch gods. I hereby renounce atheism. Logic dictates that there must be watch devils as well. Hmmmmm.

You guys kill me & have certainly eased my heart

The DJ was a gift from my son so I'll be buried with that..
just kidding, my son sometimes drops by & he'll have fainted seeing that as
he'd have to dig me up to get it back

The RB is too gorgeous for words, ridiculously cheap from Milton's of Liverpool, I keep thinking I'll be arrested for theft !!

The red sub, well it's a mk1 from Merk Lerman & in the first 2% red subs ever made so that's going nowhere any-time soon

I'd love to see pics of your former 'lifelong romances', I need it guys
& will consider it Therapy

Hi Chris,

I've never sold a watch, but that might change if a PP 5712 was waved in my general direction. Can I ask, what model/year DJ is that?

I've got a couple of Rolex keepers:

When I read your title that song jumped right into my head glad I am not the only one here who listens to flogging molly, seen them a bunch too. You listen to The pogues too? Probibly the best of the best in my opinion
And I will put down a leffe in honor of your wayward watches

Chris,
I feel your pain, my friend. Sometimes you gotta crack a couple eggs if you want to make an omelet.
Gone but not forgotten.
