Visit to wannabuyawatch in LA over the weekend
Walked in and was warmly greeted by the salesperson - nice place, a little small, but comfy. On the BH and LA border.
I was in town for a concert and had sent an email asking about a specific watch. The email was never returned so I decided to drive down to the shop. The two watches I saw – both SS with white roman numeral faces, were of less than expected quality. The first had a large red stain inbetween the links on the bracelet. The second had a bracelet that had a different patina than the watch, leading me to believe it was not the original bracelet. The bracelet was also very flimsy and loose. Once watch had a box and papers, the other had nothing. Prices were a little high but not strictly firm. I was reminded several times by the salesperson that they “sell every watch that comes in” I was ready to buy a watch that day, but did not due to my concerns over quality. The search continues… |
