Buying a Sub-C in NJ
Well I'm pulling the trigger next week on a 116610LN. I haven't decided exactly where I'm buying from yet. There are a few ADs in South Jersey that I am going to check out. I am also considering buying from one of the TRF trusted sellers. I purchased my DeepSea in Atlanta, GA but won't be purchasing there again. A few questions: Does anyone recommend one AD over another in South Jersey? There are 2 ADs in Atlantic City and 1 in Sommers Point. I know this is a per sale basis but what if anything should I expect to pay under the $8k retail for the watch for a first time buyer? I will be shipping the watch to our house in AL to keep paying taxes. I'm really just looking for a starting offer or if any off is realistic. I know the sub c is pretty popular so do most of the current stocks of the ADs have random serial #s? If I'm finding non random serials should I search for a random serial or does it matter? Thanks TRF. Any input or comments would be great.

The only ones I know are in Monmouth County which are in Red bank and Sea Girt. Leonardo's and Ballew's.

I bought four Rolex watches from the AD in South Jersey (Somers Point, AC); one of them was a YG (bark) DD. In and about that time I caused them to sell a total of six watches due to referrals and what not.
When the GMTII C model came out I wanted one in two-tone. They couldn't do anything for me. The model's too new, we can get more from someone else, ... whah, whah, whah. Waited a bit and got the very same watch for substantially less at another AD in NJ, from whom I had never previously purchased. Never went back to my South Jersey friends and haven't missed them! |

I wouldnt expect a discount on the sub-c. I can say in NJ I would be buying from Jonathan over at Hamilton Jewelers.
PM me if you want a referral as I've become good friends with him over the last couple years. |
