If you had a BNIB SD 16600 and BNIB 16610LV (Non-Ceramic) and could only keep one, which would you keep and why?

I'd sell my car and keep both. Lol jk, but really I'd pretty much do everything possible to keep both in my safe.

Keep the 16610LV its getting harder to find, and will hold its value better than the SD. Also the bezel is pretty in green.

Agreed LV looks nicer with the green hue. However, I own SDs, and the way these babies wear is simply unbelievable. The perfect heft and the toughest bad boy there is.

Since I don't own an SD but I do own an LV, I would say keep the LV.

Maybe one day I will own an SD, just have to see.

SD no questions asked. It was my first Rolex and there will always be a special place in my heart for it, I have had 4 and the NIB M I just picked up is never leaving

do you have a black bezel Rolex sub already????? if so keep the LV, part w/ the SD.
if you don't...what do you prefer comfort-wise???? the LV is lighter weight, not as tall.
tough choice....then again you could sell your blood, some body parts you're not using,
then keep both.

If you are thinking in terms of investment, I think both are equally bad. ;). Just my honest opinion! That said, I love the green of the LV! And it is more rare due to shorter production run.

I don't... All I have is a DJ, which I will probably sell in the future. I enjoy being a one watch guy!

I would keep the LV as well. I found a brand new SD 16600 at an AD yesterday. I think the LV is much harder to find. Just my $.02

Seeing you have the both watches you must have bought them for a reason,or did you buy them hoping they would rise in money.Myself would keep both, trouble today Rolex watches are thought of by many as just $$$$$$£££££ objects instead of a very fine watches,that with a little care from its owner will last a lifetime and beyond.If you have to sell one for financial reasons then sell the one thats gets you the most revenue back.

I think the new 116610LV looks stunning with the green dial. The prior green bezel, black dial combo just didn't look right to me. And how hard would it be to convert an ordinary sub to an "LV" by simply switching the bezel insert? I'd keep the SD 16600.

The 16610LV's got a maxidial in addition to the green bezel insert. That's all the difference between the 16610 and 16610LV.

I would keep the SD, as it is a much cooler model. Personally I like that it is without the cyclop.

The LV seems to be fetching higher prices lately. If you plan on selling it later, perhaps the LV is a better investment.

I like LV's green bezel and maxi dial, on the other hand, SD's heft is awesome.

It's hard, but I think I would keep LV because of the shorter production than SD.
