First Rolex & First Multi-Thousand $ Internet Purchase
First let me thank all of you on TRF. The information posted here helped me choose the right Rolex for me. I purchased it from DavidSW on this forum and the transaction was like the watch, superlative.
I have posted a few wrist shots. My wrist measures 7" and I tried on a lot of different Rolex models in the following sizes: 34mm 36mm 39mm 41mm I settled on the 36mm (35mm) Explorer I. I was not leaning towards the sport watches but more for business dress and casual. In the end, I liked the understated classic nature of the Explorer I. I felt like it has the right proportion for my wrist. The larger watches felt like clocks on me. I suspect I will purchase more watches from David in the future. Thank you DavidSW Thank You TRF members Gary |
