FSOT--Red Dial Sub 1680 $9250
For sale or trade is an excellent early 1970s Rolex Submariner 1680 with the red dial. A few notes:
The dial on this red sub is in 99% perfect condition--not a mark or flaw anywhere at all. Simply amazing patina on this original dial--very rare to find such a unique color as seen on this one. This is a 3,03X,XXX serial number. Running strong. Case is nice and thick and has a long long life ahead of it--some previous polish but great thick lugs. Serial/reference #'s are easily read without a loupe. Come with a tight Rolex SS 93150 band in great condition. The hands match beautifully, however there was a crack in the patina and the tritium was professionally stabilized by adding compound to rear of the hand which gives the tritium the backing to strengthen it and prevent any more material loss. Purchased originally from Steve Mulholland in February 2011 so great pedigree (and an exceptional seller) Asking $9,250 net (shipping extra at cost). Open to partial or full Rolex trades. Wire or PayPal with buyer covering fees. CONUS shipping only, please. Three day unconditional review and return period with full refund less less shipping and insurance fees, provided watch is returned in 100% same condition.
