20mm? More like 18mm!
So, I always assumed the lug space on my GMT Master was 20mm.
I have found out the hard way it is 18mm, the hard way = buying a nice strap to use before measuring!

I find that anything over 1mm in thickness has A LOT of difficulty making it through the small space.
Anyone else? |

The GMT has always had a 20mm space between the lugs.. I can't think of any exceptions...
 As to your last post... I'm afraid I don't understand it.. ??

They are all 20mm except for the Oyster Date & Airking (and the ladies sizes of course). They probably sent you a wrong sized strap/band. (I'm just guessing of course).

Is the OP is referring to a 1 piece woven nylon strap??? I.E. NATO/ZULU......depends on
how thick fabric is????? I.E. Maratac's ZULU has thicker fabric than their NATO.
