WG daytona or AP panda?
Which one would you rather have? Thanks for all your inputs.

You can always get a SS Daytona and change the dial. That's what I would do and save a ton of $

Why not both. I haven't wore my AP much since I got my daytona.

The AP. Its dial is easier to read and although the Daytona is a handsome watch, I never liked the ease with which the bezel collected scratches.

As much as I see (and like) the change of dial in an SS to make it look like the WG - Believe me there is nothing like wearing a WG Daytona IMO.
They are a beautiful watch.....wear so comfortably - and the weight/balance/aesthetic is tough to beat. Love the AP also....but secondary to the Daytona for me. It's just a more everyday wearable watch that oozes class These may help:

I have a WG Daytona, also want a panda or safari. But if I could only have one it would be the WG Daytona, but now I am falling in love with the WG Daytona with the silver face, even the panda face as well.

I must be a low class bum as I have never seen a AP that I like....so I voted Rolex. I don't really like the new Daytona's either. |

I really like that Panda and it many ways it is a "finer" watch, but I wouldn't give up a WG Daytona for it. I think the latter is much more wearable and discrete. One option would be to "downgrade" the Daytona to a ss version and then use that money towards a minty used AP ROO Panda. The best of both worlds!

Absolutely right, brother Dalip. I had a ss Daytona with a slate WG dial. A ss watch is a ss watch. You don't own a WG Rolex for the look, but rather the feel. Do try on a ss Datejust and then a WG Day-Date/President and it will become very clear.

I'd keep the Daytona...the AP's don't do much for me, I find them too bulky and strange looking.

I'd pick a 3rd one: AP ROC 26300ST Panda:
More refined and IMHO more attractive than the ROO Panda.

Neither do much for me. APs are neither here or there, I've not handled one that I really like. The Daytona is too small, in my opinion. A choice, though? Easy, Rolex every time.

Tough choice. Since I already have a SS Daytona I might just have to go for the AP, however if I didn't already have a Daytona I would go for the WG Daytona.

You may want to look at the newer shape AP ROO with the square pusher buttons. Now that one I like. Out of your choice I would go for a wg Daytona like Dalips.

ROO, easily more distinct.
