Definition of Hypocrite
So I know a lot of these guys at this place I go to and they all love to party.Which is fine. I think all of them are married with kids. Now they all tell me stories all the time of how they do stuff with other girls like every other weekend.Which It is none of my business to comment on since that is those are their choices. The only thing that keeps bugging me is the fact when they talk about how much they love their kids and would do anything in the world for them. I don't think they understand the fact that If their wives ever find out that their husbands cheat on them and their kids see their mother crying like crazy over it and possibly file for divorce. Wont that forever change the child's view of their father.

Yeah,
I've seen it with a neighbor. It was not pretty when he got busted. My wife would come after me with a butcher knife! |

Not an option. I am married to a woman that knows how to fight and use a knife. She sleeps with me and a blade.

It's too bad being loyal to somebody seems to become less important these days. I hope those guys' children won't suffer too much if their dads get busted...
This being said, not an option for me neither! I love my girlfriend and am more than loyal to her!

It goes both ways. I know of at least three of my male friends who have been on the receiving end of cheating. Two are, and the third is in the process of divorce.

Seriously, though - I understand what you're saying. Anyone who cheats risks hurting their children, whether they end up divorced or not.

So is cheating, it seems. I know way too many couples who either divorced because of cheating or who endure it in a loveless marriage. Come to think of it, I know more people like that than I do couples who are happily married.

You are right. If you want to be a player, stay single. Marriage is commitment.
That being said...we know a friend whose wife absolutely refuses to be intimate. There are no medical issues on either end. If the husband does not want to divorce her, and still loves her, what should he do? Just "go without," so to speak, for the rest of his life? |

Men cheating are already on the losing end of any sort of custody concern if they are caught and divorced. Being brazen about it just makes them F'n idiots. I try not to hang out with F'n idiots. I know it cannot be avoided sometimes, but generally speaking, avoid F'n idiots if you can.
I tried real hard to sew my wild oats back in the day. I wanted to make sure that when I met that someone, it was the one, the only one. So far, I'm happy. I do have friends who do otherwise -- I try to comprehend them, but frankly cannot. |

I used to do that to my ex girlfriends all the time when I was young and stupid, say 20 Years old.
Nowadays I'm grown up, and learnt that the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence. Bragging about cheating isn't exactly smart nor does it have any class at all.

I am very cautious about people like that.
If that is how they treat the people they love most, what hope has anyone else. They are just plain dishonorable.

I don't know that it's that simple. Sometimes they can't help themselves. Maybe it's predisposition, I don't know.
Look, for me it's real simple. I got one gorgeous lady, and I don't need or want the others. It's almost Darwinian selfishness. I think that any healthy couple would address this amongst themselves. You want to be swingers at the key party? Great, who cares. But marriage is a thing of mutuality, and on all things you both got to agree. Otherwise it's not really a marriage. But for some people their predisposition is to hide or cheat. Do you want to know those people? Wait, let me rephrase that... do YOU want to know those people? Sometimes growing up is about shutting off people and closing your boundaries. |

If there are any issues within a marriage, they need to talk it out. That's why we were born with enough intelligence to talk it out. Get divorced then do whatever you want to do. Until then, do the right thing.

There are men and women who cheat. People assume this kind of behaviour is 'Male' defect but its equally seen in females, its just that females keep their affairs very discreet.
Most of the times there really arent any issues between couples it happens just because they could and the element of risque gives them a high.

Bingo! Dishonorable, no character, no values, call it whatever you like. You chose to make the committment. If you no longer want to keep that committment and would rather be someone else, then don't run around behind your spouse's back like a coward... get a divorce... or preferably grow up and honor yoru committment.

I have also, in the past, be the other side of it and know how it feels, especially to be the last to know. Some guys need to learn, how ever many times you manage to hit someone else, doesn't hurt any less when they hit you.

While I agree with the OP, does anyone really think this is new behaviour? Really?
