Indy car crash at Las Vegas
The biggest Indy car crash I've ever seen a few minutes ago, probably a dozen cars or so, lots of them airborne.
Hope everyone is okay, it looked very scary.

Thanks for the reminder. I'd forgotten about the race. Tuning it in now.

Clip is on youtube, looks like Dan Wheldon is seriously hurt. Fingers crossed for him.

I'm guessing Wheldon is or will be dead, based on driver reactions. Cars covered with tarps, ambulances, carnage. I've never seen anything like it, and I've followed open-wheel racing for 45 years.

No warm, fuzzy feelings. Still won't give an update.

Unbelievable footage. What a disaster. I don't see how he could survive that.

What a sad day.
Dan Wheldon was a 2 time winner of the Indianapolis 500 and an Indy car champion. He was 33 years old. RIP

My prayers to Dan Wheldon's family and friends. The sad part of motorsports. Tragic.

Good god what a mess. Earnhardt, now Wheldon, and before him, the greatest driver in history, Senna. Horrible.
