So what has your child given you...

that means a lot. Maybe it's a picture, a tie, a note, etc.

Among many items, my key chain is at the top. I have an item on it that was given to me by each of my three boys. One is a handmade key chain. The other two are goodies the boys selflessly bought for me with their own pocket money.

When I'm off on meetings during the day, it's a nice reminder of why I work. And I wouldn't trade this for any upscale, designer key chain out there.

This is all sweet and funny. And it's scary how I can relate to all these comments.

And dP - you crack me up.

Likewise I have at work a painting of my favourite car (M3) painted by my son and "I Love You Dad".... it reminds me to work harder for their education

Yesterday my son flicked a piece of rice from his finger (at least I hope that's what it was) and it stuck to my arm.

Once before leaving on a motorcycle ride, she handed me a piece of paper with random lines scribbled on it. As she handed it to me, she said it is a ticket to heaven in case anything happens to me while I'm riding. I'm sure it was from constantly hearing my mom tell me to sell the bike before I get killed. Over 10 years later I still have the "ticket" and the bike.

Yeah, that's right. Your son...must be rice. Yeah, that's it. Rice.
