Tourneaus does it again!

You know, I KNEW better than to take one of my watches to Tourneaus. I picked up a new leather strap for my Navitimer at a Tourneaus, and they offered to put it on the watch for free. The salesman took the watch and the strap, took it in the back, and brought it out in under one minute. Now two of my polished lugs are scratched on the back side. I know it's where no one will see, but it's the principle of the thing that gets me. Would it be too much to ask for him to take two, three or even five minutes and be careful??

Did you check your watch before leaving the store? I agree if you paid for a service it should be done correctly.

When I found out [later], I called them and asked for the manager, but they said the manager wasn't there and did I want to leave a message. So I told the story with whomever salesperson answered the phone. Not willing to bet the farm that it will get to the manager.
I went to their corporate website and sent them an e-mail telling them what happened.
I just got home and was able to carefully inspect the watch under a strong light, and..... there are ever so tiny scratches on the TOP of two lugs!!
The reason I went there was because they were the only place that had the strap, and if I would have went to a Rolex AD, they would have charged me 25 bucks to swap the straps. I almost did that anyway, but decided to take a chance. Never again!!
