To be honest that looks pretty genuine from the pictures.
How can you tell it's a fake?? |

(Deepsea, I am told by forum members did not come out until V series) She removed this from the listing when I challenged her on it - She does not have a plastic warranty card - She does have a warranty document with no serial number stamped into it - She has a receipt from the supplying AD in Paris, however on the receipt the company's name is misspelt with 2 separate spelling mistakes - When her last auction was closed down by Ebay, she immediately opened this one under a different user name but with exactly the same description and location etc.. - On the original listing, she offered me a $2000 discount because she 'couldn't find' the warranty card Suspicious I think! |

By following this forum for awhile, I have noticed that bad photography is not a sign of a bad photographer, but an attempt to hide or make imperfections difficult to spot.
Probably the second most common tactic used by charlatans is the claim that they know nothing about the watch or watches in general, followed by a sob story about the death of a loved one from whom the watch was inherited.

I also think the engraving on the clasp looks off, in fact from the pictures it looks the same as the clasp in this thread: http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=204388 My opinion is that's it's fake. Regards, Simon |

In one of the pictures, the watch is shown against a picture on a booklet, and you can clearly see that the number 3 on the booklet bezel does not match the 3 on the watch bezel.
