Rolex 18238 Question

Hi there,

This is my first post on this site, waving high from South California, now I would like to ask a question because I just purchased a 18238 and the band looks a bit weird to me (see the red circle on the image below)

The last link of the band where the Rolex crown logo is seems to be like solid attached to the hidden clasp, its not loose.. does this band look normal?

This is the watch:

This is what seems to look "normal"

Hmmm.. I think I see what you mean by "it's not loose". So if it wasn't loose, then how does the clasp "click" open to get the watch off your wrist?

I can "click" open the watch perfectly to take it off, I just see the last link of the band is like "glued" to the clasp... in other bands I see the clasp can move independtly of the last link position on this one I dont think it is, the end of the clasp is like solid attached to the back of the last link...

Thank you for the prompt replies! I bought this watch from a seller who has sold me a few Rolex in the past, most of them were purchased by my family members and we never ever had a single problem with them, I just dont want to call him up regarding this yet to report this as a problem cause it might not be.

I have uploaded pictures from the watch (see below)

http://gallery.atpic.com/46566

if you could take a look at them at tell me wether the watch looks ok, if you see anything weird, etc I would appreciate it, I know you guys know a lot about these

I apologize, the very last picture with the "U-Click" logo on it is a picture taken off the net and I think thats what the band should look like.

I found a video see 0:44 on this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOZDd0cfPyg

You see how the last link with the "crown" on it can move independently off the clasp? The back of my last link is like "stuck" to the clasp...

To make things a bit clear, the part with the "red rectangle" is like "glued" together to the link with the crown logo on it, I dont know what could be wrong or if thats the way it is, I havent tried to apply force in order to take it apart from the back of the link tho...

Time to visit a reputable watchmaker in your area perhaps.
