Here's some information about the robbery at one of my favorite Rolex AD in Vancouver, BC. I'm just glad, none of my friends at Montecristo Jewellers were hurt in the robbery.

FYI, take note of the stolen Rolex watches serial number, keep this list in mind when purchasing Rolex and or Cartier watches.

On June 17, 2007 , Montecristo Jewellers at Oakridge Mall in Vancouver , B.C. was robbed at gun point by two males. One of the two produced a silver hand gun and forced staff to unlock the jewellery cases. The second male pulled over 100 Rolex and Cartier watches and several pieces of expensive jewellery from the display cases, then both fled through the mall.

Subject descriptions:

• Male, Caucasian, 5'7” tall, stocky build, 35-40 years old, salt and pepper hair, clean shaven, dark jacket and blue jeans.

• Male, Caucasian, 5'9” tall, slim build, 25-30 years old, pasty white skin, shaved head, clean shaven, dark jacket over white t-shirt with blue jeans.

The jewellery consists of rings that are unique and hand made. Much of it is 18k yellow gold, 19k white gold, or platinum with diamonds and/or gemstones and stamped accordingly with at least one of Montecristo's three different and unique trademarks.

The Rolex watches all have a serial number (listed below) and this serial number can be found on the watch. Cartier watches also have serial numbers (also listed below).
