Sea Dweller Tool Kit Question

does everyone know if the screw driver from the sea dweller tool kit is replaceable? i recently broke the screwdriver bit, and hoping to get that replaced because i do use it quite often. can the bit be replaced? thanks.

There's always that "bay" place where folks sell off Rolex odds 'n ends - a couple of kits there...

I would try a local dealer to see if they could order one.

Either way...VERY good question, please post your results.

Funny, I've done the same thing and have been looking for the last few months. I've only seen the full kits online. If the AD can order just the tool, that would be great.

I've asked the AD but they said they can't even get the full kit. But there are plenty available on the forums. one person I inquired was getting 10 or more at a time from his "supplier". interesting how some has that kind of connection but it was a bit expensive though.

thanks guys. yeah, i have the full tool kit, too. however, i ONLY use the screwdriver because it's great when changing the bracelet (i have lug holes), and it's a perfect fit on the screws. i am afraid i'd scratch the bracelet with the broken bit. i was thinking that a lot of screwdriver bits are replaceable, so this probably could. but yeah, i will stop by a local ad or the rsc when i am back in town. currently in nashville, tn visit my mother for christmas, and will head to nyc tomorrow for nye at time square with the gf.

The screwdriver is available in the uk as a spare part. I have heard of a few people buying them. The reference is 2100 and they cost approx £15. Well worth getting as they are the best tool for an oyster bracelet.

.
Sea-Dweller toolkit as it was referenced in Master catalog until the end of 16600 (2007-2008) . Reference exist, so an AD should be able to sell it.

If anyone knows an AD that can order just the screwdriver / springbar tool, please PM me.

My AD said that they called Rolex and they can not be ordered as a part even with an exchange of the broken one. I'd like to replace mine without buying a whole new kit.
