Happy New Year - I'm back and more ceramic than ever!

Well folks, just when I thought I was out.... They pull me back in!!

Picked up a beautiful SubC LN today fresh from the AD - such a PERFECTLY engineered piece. Build quality and execution cannot be surpassed by any brand in my opinion. So impressed having moved from the original sea dweller and Datejust in the past. This is where I belong - like the SD with all of the areas which needed to be addressed - well, addressed (namely clasp and solid centre links for me, ceramic bezel is beautiful bonus too, along with maxi dial)

Here is a quick snap (and I vow not to take this off - no babying, come gym, work, come all):

Solid, sleek and stylish. An icon, the best of what Rolex does best - produce reliable, refined sports watches.

Thanks for all of the reviews, photos and posts which helped me gain insight and decide that this was the one for me.

Now for a question - need to get insured (UK). As I work and live at opposite ends of the country, and also rent, I have a conundrum around house contents cover if I have to involve myself in a claim whilst in London or at rented property at other end of the country. As such, I am considering independent watch insurance. UK guys, what works best for you?

Happy new year to all!

Thanks guys, and appreciate the repost of the image - couldn't get that to work full size.

Indeed the lugs are flared but becoming accustomed to it. Perhaps a mm or two more tapered at the ends would have made it more curvaceous, but I kind of like it just the way it is. Awesome engineering and finish. Bravo Rolex.
