Day Date or DSSD

I currently have a day-date, but that DSSD keeps calling my name, just something about that massive looking watch. I know they are two seperate looks, but what do you think? DSSD, or Day-Date, and I know if personal preference, jusk asking. I figure at a AD I would take a hit on trading in even with a precious metal.

Figure out a way to own both. They are too different to decide one or the other.

If your wrist is large enough for the DSSD then go for it. It is the only watch I keep regretting trading in every time I do.

+1!

Wish I had kept mine, but it was too big for me.

Significantly different but very desirable watches.

But if I could only have one, it would have to be the Deepsea - I think it's marginally more versatile than the Day-Date.

Oh my goodness, this isn't even close. You're talking about a fine Rolex versus THE Rolex.

Except them being both models made by Rolex the comparison ends there . Total different of look , style , utility , practicality , price , image and on and on . Those two models the total extreme of the Rolex catalogue in my opinion .
I obviously love the Deepsea as I'm lucky to own one but I could express a vote on the pole above .

I would say get both. But, if I had to choose one, I would choose the DSSD if you are wrist/size worthy. ;-)

Flip something else and keep a DD (no diamond) and a DSSD - that would make a nice two watch combo!
