Is this a real Daytona

I inherited this watch along with a Michael Schumacher world champion 2002 Omega. I know nothing of watches.. Is it real or a fake? Thanks Ron

It does have the crown with three dots and o-ring on the stem and the green hologram on the back... The hands look correct as we.. But I don't know anything about it.. Ron

It also says Rolex on the dial but it isn't.

A quick bit of research will give even the least experienced person the answer. Your watch is a typical counterfeit Daytona.

Another inheritance "Rolex". The lucky recipient never knows anything about them

What a surprise, it's fake!

Sorry mate, the Daytona is a fake. Daytona's do not have Day/Date subdials on them.

This is what a real Daytona's Sub dials should look like.

Omega looks sketchy too... typical Asian fonts on the chrono numbers and date.

Not always, sometimes they are "gifts",usually unwanted, unappreciated or not lifestyle compatible in some way but for some reason always without boxes and paperwork.

You are right. Usually from the ex-wife, and now he wants it gone!

The "Daytona" on top of the 24H wheel is very of. Its as if the 24H wheel was put on slightly to far to the left making the second half of daytona "tona" be un even with the watch. TAKE A LOOK SEE!

Unless you glued it on that way, I would have to say it is not genuine.

Well, maybe, but great for starters if a Daytona had a "24h" dial.
