I W Marks in Houston services Rolexs in-store. How long does this full service usually take? A couple hours? Days? I'd rater get a full cleaning service and replace the click spring beneath the bezel than rather go towards a $500~600 full service.

A full service, depending on how backed up your RSC is can take 4 -6 weeks or more.

I have heard of some folks in the UK waiting months.

This Rolex AD is one of the few in-store Rolex repair centers in Houston. How long should it take since they do not have to ship it off to RSC?

Don't know. Depends on their backlog. Give them a call.

I'm confused as to what you mean by a full cleaning service and how it is different from a full service at RSC. I thought a full service is just that...the watch is taken apart, parts are inspected for wear and replaced as necessary then it is put back together and oiled and lubricated and then sent back to you???

IW Marks is servicing my 1675 and they said it would take a week to 10 days.

I had my Datejust serviced locally once upon a time. It cost £300 and i got it back in a month.
Now I would never do this again as recently i sent it to RSC in England at a cost of Approx £480 and it took almost 3 months. The difference is when serviced by a RSC the case is repolished/a new glass is fitted/all worn parts are replaced and the watch comes back like new with a 2year gaurantee. No comparison and well well worth the extra expense.

I use a local guy in Dallas, and I usually drop it off and get a call in a couple weeks. The time involved is all about the watch tech's schedule.

Without a second thought, I would use RSC Dallas - it'll come back as close to new as possible with all Rolex parts and have a 2 year warranty. That's worth a few extra smacks and weeks.

Exactly.. I sent my DD to the Dallas RSC.. Came back like new..
