Hes sold a lot of Rolex's in the past. Its clearly a Frankenwatch, I would tend to believe its legit. But Im not sure what it is that you are buying. Is it the 'looks' of a Rolex? Or the 'deal' of maybe getting a SD really cheap ?
You have to go into it with eyes wide open. By the price it doesnt seem to be be bidded up much with 1 1/2 days left to it. i would suspect any new owner would have the same problem down the road if they needed to sell it. |

But is it really a SD? Or a bunch of mis-matched SD parts?

I don't care for franken watches - the seller clearly states such.
Just me.

There`s no value in a Rolex cobbled together with counterfeit parts,it might as well be a complete counterfeit. In this case full disclosure by the seller serves to inform those interested in a genuine Rolex to stay away.
The important phrase is "NOT all original and has many added parts",which means you would be buying a pile of questionable parts in a Rolex case. |

The dodgy Rolex Logo on the bottom should be red flag enough......
and btw the rust on the rotor center doesn't come out of the blue |

With about 4hrs left and nearing $3k, it's way too high. I guess if you're betting that the dial is real + the movement....

Do yourself a favour and take a pass on this one Dan.There are too many unanswered questions with this one and it`s too high a price to pay to answer them.It won`t cost you to walk away now, better that you should wait for something genuine to come your way.
