Forty thousand bottle of wine on the wall?

Plenty of people keep a modest wine cellar to store some of their best vintages. But one French connoissoeur taken things to the next level. His passion for fine wine has led to the accumulation of some 40,000 bottles including some of the rarest and most expensive labels in the world. All I need is just a couple of cases!

I had a friend of a friend who bought a scotch collectors complete collection for about 50 cents on the dollar from the spouse after his death. Sometimes these crazy collections leave the non-collector holding the bag. I did get a great deal on some unusual bottles but really sad for the wife.

You start a lot of miscellaneous threads that make very little sense. Who is this "French connoisseur"? Having a 40k bottle cellar certainly is rare so did you read about him and if so, can you link the source? You want a couple cases? Cases of what?

Or, is this your way of adding post counts so you can post in the classifieds?

If he was trying for post counst it would be less obvious to comment on exsisting threads and not start new one's, IMHO.

We'll see how this turns out

He has until now made 19 posts but doesn't come back to any of them with a reply or comment.

I'm pretty sure the Mods are on it.

There was a wonderful practical demonstration by them a couple of weeks ago when someone did a post about "Stealth Mods" - Boy, were they there within seconds! It was very reassuring to know that behind the scenes, waiting, ready, locked and loaded the Mods of the forum are tooled to the nines.

We, the innocent posters of TRF, have little to fear as the Mods are out there, patrolling the seas of this vast and wonderful and occasionally Trolled forum.

Up The Mods!!!

There you go.

QED

They're not only stealthy but they're fast too.

Cheers.

What gets me is; what did he want?

Starts a load of threads - never posts back - why?

It can't be ALL that he's just a silly little idiot.

Oh well, that's what those stealth Ninja silent watchers are there for...

And I for one, raise my glass to them.

This forum just wouldn't be the amazingly excellent place if they weren't here to see fair play.

Thanks, you invisible, wonderful, stealthy, quick persons of TRF.

Luckily, my old friend, you're too far away for me to have to share it with you.

After all, it's ONLY 3 litres.

Cheers.

Carl, the next time you are in Great Britain, if you do not seek me out and go for a beer with me I will be monumentally P****d off with you.

Even though you're just some guy I met on a forum and the only thing we have in common is expensive watches and collectible guitars....

Then I shall oblige, my friend! Perhaps we could also make a little trip to France and have a bottle of wine, I heard they had a pretty good selection somewhere in a connoisseur's cellar...

Trolls under a bridge will tell you anything - they're desperate to get out of their situation. (Imagine living in the dark with all that slime and mildew and nastiness!)

Now, who's flying where?
