What 2 timepieces are you trading? That would help us properly answer your question!

Those are (well until yesterday) my 2 grails. I love them both. Such a hard choice. I might go with GMT because ive seen more WG Subs. But then again I love the WG sub a ton.

Tough call...
I love the looks of the WG Sub
but have a hard time justifying it
to myself when I see how good some
of the SS to blue conversions have
come out.
I really like the YG GMT IIC and am
considering one myself, I am partial
to the black dial though.
To make it more complicated I am also
debating the YG DD II white dial.

Of your two options as much as I like the WG
sub I really think Id have to go with the YG GMT IIC!

Please let us know what you decide!!!

Yellow gold GMT has my vote, although the WG Submariner starts to grow on me (I know I know, I always said the contrary!) I still have a preference for the creamy 18kt yellow gold Rolex makes.

Damn! Those are solid pieces! Since you are trading one of my favorites in the 116713 I would lean towards the 116619 if I were in your shoes! Tough decisions! Good luck!

Of the 2, I'd go for the 'Brad Pitt,' as I really like Yellow Gold.

I like that WatchTimes is looking into the YG DDII - goin' for the old Doc look, love it!!

I would go for the 116718 GMTIIC. I really like both watches, but I just cannot justify the extra $$ for the WG Submariner, especially when it looks so similar to my SS Sub LVC. I think it flies a little too far under the radar for my taste. I want to look down and see the GOLD!

Well in this case I'd go with the WG Submariner, it does have its charm...although yellow gold remains the classic thing...but blue stands out more on the wrist...

...Oh the hell with it, buy the two of them already!

I love the WG sub, but I have always had a special place in my heart for the YG GMT IIc with green dial ... my grail.

The WG sub will be know as white gold only to you (heft, and lightening of your wallet) and those in "the know"; others may think it's just stainless. The YG GMTIIc will be known as gold to everyone within eyeshot.

If you want people (all people) to know you have arrived, go YG GMTIIc. If you want to remain a little bit on the DL and not get murdered for your watch (frequent bad areas wearing short sleeves), you might want to stick with the beautiful WG Sub.

Your call ...

I traded my 116520 and 116713 also just a week ago for a 116718ln and would do it again in a heartbeat..
The yg gmt IIc is amazing..the yellow gold is so intoxicating to look at.
I will post some wrist shots tonight for you to help you decide.

If it's not a black dial 116718 like this

I'd have to vote WG Sub.

Where will you be buying and what are the discounts that you will be getting? I got a 32% discount on my !!6718 from a grey dealer. the blue sub was less of a discoumt.t. the gmt outsells the sub by a longshot here where I live. My dealer sold 4 last week. That gives you a. clear indication of its popularity.. even so, you will be hardest to see one in the wild....
