Wive's Rolex Problem
My wive's Rolex Date Just is approx 4 years old and has never had a problem, until today. It is running fine and the date is turning over correctly but it cannot be wound manually. Trying to wind manually encounters a no turn crown which is locked solid in that first pull out mode.
Suggestions Please? |

If you 'work' the crown as Peter has suggested but it is still stuck then take it in for a check up.

Exactly what I was thinking..
In any event.. your "wife's" watch is likely dry at the detent and winding position that the stem must negotiate properly to do the job.... it happens from time to time.. 4 years is not out of line for an occassional watch needing to be cleaned and re-oiled... rare, but not out of line..
