Arsenal on a roll!
The Gunners are looking good after a problematic first three quarters of a season.

Resilience, hard work and belief. Something we (finally) have. We are now playing effectively, and not just pretty. The 95th minute winner by the Verminator against Newcastle shows how far we have come.
And we are ahead of that other lot. Arsene knows. |

I hear they will be bringing in one of Europe's top young midfielders next season!!!!!
The name is Wilshire! Keep an eye on this guy.

Considering where they were and how they were playing its a small miracle, season is not ended yet but with Chelski and Totteringham Hotspots playing each other Saturday its looking a hell of a lot rosier. Mind the gap and St Totteringham day may not yet need to be cancelled

I'm of the opinion that they will need to bring in some fresh blood next season, Wilshire is a real talent, but to keep him and RVP they will need to demonstrate some ambition, those clubs with benefactors at Manchester and Stamford bridge and other larger European teams will be trying to tempt them to long illusive silver ware.
I know, I know, my team lost 7-3 at home the other night and are a long way from being half good enough to enter the premiership in the next couple of seasons, but without RVP Arsenal are not a top 6 team. JMHO.

Frankly, until Messi starts taking an unhealthy interest in wine, women, fast cars, luxury watch collections, bespoke tailored suits, fancy homes, personal jets, mind altering drugs,TRF etc., no one will have a chance in Europe....

I am not totally impressed by the youngsters in United's team...Too bad because they will be in the England set up.

Interesting idea.... I think there is a good chance he will go back to Chelsea. It gives Roman A a chance to show humility and get a top notch manager. I am not sure Jose will be able to last another year or two at RM waiting for SAF..

I think that timing will be the only thing that would stop him going to United, Sir Alex will cling on for a couple more years, in that instance it is all set for the prodigal son to return to Stamford Bridge, I would have liked to have seen him at United, you never know, if City don't win the Premiership, he could be just down the road from United.

Maybe if SAF does pull it off this season, he might move aside for Jose to build a new team????

2 games left in the season and man city beat united!
Fergie's worst nightmare could come true and the title may come down to goal difference! It really is squeaky bum time. |

Neither of the games against Newcastle or Sunderland are foregone conclusions, so I agree with Mancini that things are still in flux. I sense Newcastle are a bit demoralized at present by the prospect of making 4th place only to have the CL qualification taken away by Chelsea beating Bayern...... Arsenal are not home and dry on that account either.
