Need advice on 1675 crown
Hello gents. I need a crown for my 1675. Would a any datejust crown fit? As long as is 5.3? I've heard that a lady's datejust 5.3 crown would fit. Is this accurate? Thanks

The crown is the same as a DateJust so you are looking in the right direction.

actually, i dont think springer is correct.
i had a 16750 and a Datejust midsize at one time. The crowns were identical. The full sized datejust's crown that i owned was larger. you may want to just get this info from a rolex service center before you make a mistake and buy an incorrect part. esp this part as a bad crown = water = a really bad day. Sounds good to me. I thought the last crown I used for a 16750 was the same as used on a DateJust, not sure what model, but it was a DateJust winding crown. I am no expert on the movements and parts, I just follow my watchmaker's advice. I have a box full of new parts and every now-and-then I find an item for one of my GMT's. Note: After checking further, I believe the ladies DateJust crown is the right size for the GMT. The crown diameter on the men's DateJust is larger than on a GMT. I can't speak about the mid-size DateJust crown size as I have no knowledge of that model but Harry seems to believe that the mid-size crown fits the GMT also which makes sense to me.

correct.
5.3 is a ladies dj 6 is mens dj so if you need a 5.3 crown a ladies dj would do.

Big Jule - glad that this helped !
Springer, the only reason i know this is because back in 2000 i really wanted a sub. all the ones i found were either big bux or in poor shape. i bought a 16750 and disliked the small crown. i ended up flipping it for a new SD. i used to line it up to my mom's midsize DJ and laugh. i guess i had a case of Rolex Crown Envy! Einstein would be proud |
